I got this gun a while back, and it became my project to make a working osiris cocker, with a timmy
frame, and half blocked of course. I still have some upgrading to do,
obviously the reg, and the second LPR on the ASA, but other than those
and grips, this beast is done...and let me say that it is FAST, it easly
shoots as well as my MQ'ed halfie, I was pleased with how it came
out...
here is how it started...(I guess I deleted the pics of it off of my camera before I uploaded them)
anyway, it was a standard 03 with an E1, blue front block, jackhammer 2,
qev modded ram, but no QEV's, ion reg, cause I ddn't have anything else
laying around, superfly bolt (crap), some fancy dice pull pin, and a
couple macro fittings.
now it is totally different:
Its halfed by me of course, JCM bolt and sled, xonik housing, cause it
was shinier at the time plus I am gonna anno it, and I wanted to keep my
E1 in good condition to sell it some time, jackhammer on the top,
sledgehammer on the ASA as the osiris ram power, 05 timmy frame, mini front block, QEV's on the ram, ASP noid for the osiris,
E2 noid for the frontblock, E1 board (fried my Tboard by accidentially
desoldering a tiny resister, and alot of modding to get everything to
fit together.
all I have left is some final tweaking, some final upgrading, grips, and
a nice new anno by me, I am thinking blue, purple, black acidwash, with
dark green splash over it, orno splash, and just have the green in the
combo minus the black, making a nice alien style anno.
I only have one complaint, as my switch does not work the other way, the
gun fires on the trigger release, the other side of the switch is
fried, but its fine with me, this is not a tourney gun, it still rips,
and it really is a nice feel when shooting it.
here
are inner grips pics, I got grip panels today for it, and it makes it
much more comfy to hold, I also added a QEV, which allowed me to half my
dwell time to only 6ms, which is not bad, I can go to 5, but I get too
much velocity fluctuation, all I need now is a nicer reg definatly going
with the sidewinder, and LPR though I may have fixed its creaping
issues, it still lags back in long strings, I think a micro rock is in
order!
pics!
I know the last pic is terrable, I was trying to show the noid, as you
can see in the first pic, I have to place everything in exactly
correctly for it to work, that and also I have a few strips of
electrical tape over the entire assembly so I can change settings easier
(have to take apart clamshell)
and as for balance, its perfect, its actually more comfy imo than a
standard frame by far, witha tank, and hopper on there, it feels great
in the hands!
here
are pics of the lower tube ram system, it works great, and its all
stuff you can get at ace hardware, and lowes or something similar.
pics:
the parts are:
-standard cocker hammer
-2 oring, not sure what size, but they were the samewhen I bought them
-about a 1.5 inch long 10/32 threaded rod
-a half inch spacer 10/32 threaded aluminum
-3 X 1/4" long, 3/8 diameter nylon spacers
-3/8 inch pipe, I belive its around 1.5 inches long about
-steel spacer, 1/2 inner diameter, to get rid of some of the wiggle room.
-modified IVG to have propper relief of the ram tube, and house the QEV
-clippard QEV
-and a conical spring for hammer return
whats the pressure needed for the ram to function?
~70psi or so, the max the noid can handel...and at 6ms dwell, but
unlucky for me, the LPR I am using is crap, and creeps all the time, so I
have to get a new one, I am thinking about a micro rock or something
like it, so I get consistant velocity, as of now, its around 240 FPS,
and needs a new HPR to rais the pressure a little bit more so it will
fire the balls out there a little quicker, the higher I go, the faster I
can get velocity out ot it, though the ion reg maxxes out around 250psi
or so I think...
I have one and they are sweet was gunna use it for a e-pnuemagproject
but decided to just stay pnuemag so if ya want it lmk Mabey we could cut
a deal on the anno or something.
I
actually got mine from ASP, I considered that one, but it would not
really save me any space, and is rated for the same pressure that the
noid I used is, its this one:
its really fast as it is, and with the QEV, it allowed me to get up to
cycle rates with the noid of around 25-30 CPS, which is pretty good for
me, it sounded like a blowback running out of air, just a loud hum.
so as of now, my top priority is to get a new front reg, and then my
next priority is a new LPR, then after that, maybe a barrel, and ego
feedneck mod it, and anno, then its totally complete.
